The generous support of our sponsors have provided the YogaVillage with funds to help produce an International Festival of the body, mind and spirit. Ayurveda practioners in music, massage, beauty, architecture and nutrition come to you from around the world.

All profits from the event in ticket sales, booked massages and meals will be

divided amongst the following deserving charities.

HELP A GUERNSEY CHILD

The charity was set up 7 years ago by Island FM Radio to raise funds for deserving children in the Bailiwick. All the monies raised will stay in the islands benefiting disadvantaged local children and young people. Some may not be eligible for support from other charities. It can consider some local charities that need additional funding.

Help A Guernsey Child helps youth organisations, as appropriate, and meets some specific individual needs. Every penny we receive is directed towards their needs.


TRAUMA RELIEF FOR CHINA EARTHQUAKE VICTIMS

Meditation and breathing techniques are being taught in special

trauma-relief workshops helping the earthquake-affected people of

China to cope with their sudden shock and the consequent

immeasurable losses. The Art of Living Foundation in action providing

GUERNSEY SOCIETY OF THE MEN OF THE TREES

Its members works tirelessly to inform people about the vital part played by trees in maintaining life on earth. The Society exists to encourage the protection and planting of trees throughout the Bailiwick of Guernsey. Also it fosters an awareness and appreciation of trees for their amenity, ecological and other values. Last project funded by donations raised at viewing of the Al Gore Film - An Inconvenient Truth 2007 resulted in a team of 28 volunteers planting 275 trees and hedging. Originally established in 1935.
